Three weeks ago, photographer
& writer Samuél Lopez-Barrantes didn’t know each other. A chance encounter in Paris revealed they shared a vast community of friends in New Orleans.What better way to support fellow artists than by pushing each other to create? The following is the first in a series of triptychs exploring the relationship between language, photography, & narrative.
For the initial collaboration, Samuél wrote a piece of fiction & sent it to Augusta, whose unique photographic eye reimagined the story off the page.
