Great post. A wealth of wisdom. And so many associations... Ride, Sally, ride! ... Joni's "prisoner of the white lines on the freeway"... rock on

Wilson Pickett, what a killer throwback ... and in the company of Joni how can any of us go wrong?

In a way, I've been doing the same thing. Whatever new headlights are out there are nearly blinding me if I drive at night, so I've been focusing on the lines on the road instead of looking fully ahead. I know if I stay between the lines I'll get home in one piece, so I'll now apply this to new adventures, too.

Yes! That's also another important angle to look at it / is spot on: when the world starts blinding us with the noisy brights, it's all the more important to trust in the destination

Yeah there's definitely some sharpness to the edge of life, but it's hard for voyagers like us, I suspect, to hear about a new adventure and not be fundamentally intrigued

It's a great song with an awesome sound—it should be on a movie soundtrack.

Hey now there’s an idea … it certainly has a “and so the story begins” kind of feel.
